ERUWAN GERRY is a familiar name in the internet business world arena Malaysia. He is known as an internet marketing expert in Malaysia. He has produced four books on internet business that has "exploded" in the Malaysian market. He was also a guest speaker for internet business to eBay, TrueWealth Sdn Bhd, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), Mara Education Foundation (YPM), National Institute of Entrepreneurship (INSKEN), Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Universiti Teknologi MARA.

While Eruwan more generally known in the online auction business arena, in fact she was a seller of digital products and also a successful affiliate. Sales of digital products he has been able to achieve sales of up to 5-digits on each launch. He also gets the first place until the fifth place in the affiliate competitions organized by other internet entrepreneurs in Malaysia. In each game, he has managed to generate affiliate commissions of up to 4-digits and get additional bonus prizes.

In addition, he has also helped others who want to make money through the internet by providing affiliate programs which until now has been accompanied by hundreds of people. By joining his affiliate programs, they have found that it is difficult to generate their profits through internet first.

Eruwan Gerry Norsen received his Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Honours from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia. After receiving his degree, Eruwan accepted a position as Project Planning Engineer in the Production Planning & Control Department at Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Nasional (PERODUA). Not long after, Eruwan accepted the position as Inspection Engineer at PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. He is now in his 5th year working with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. As my long term goal, I want to be a successful technopreneur.  What I would be in 10years more? As we know, everybody born in this world to be a successful person. As my long term goal, i have my large business empire and free from any financial problem. I do like to have my own company that develop my own product which is focus on healthy product. Today we can look every people want to have a good health.  To achieve my long term goal, i need to fully prepare myself with all things that can handle everything that will happen either positive or negative. As we know, in a business world, we need to take any risk that will happen to us. We need to be ready for facing any problem happen. We cannot erase all the risk in business but we can minimize the risk. To minimize a risk we need to learn from other, follow a course about business and keep learning from other expert businessman outside there. To be a successful technopreneur, I also need to take all opportunity outside there to growth like others company. I also need to keep learning all about the marketing. Follow the statistics, 80% people fail on their business because they did not expert about the marketing plan. Do something new that can attracted people to be our customer.

As my long term goal, I also want to be a consultant to help anyone that also want to be a successful technopreneur. I do like to help anyone outside there that want to be a successful technopreneur. As my idol Dr.Azizan Osman said, our happiness is when we look people surrounding us can be successful with us.

Employability is defined as capability of getting and keeping satisfactory work. While employability skill is defined as set of achievement, understanding and personal attributes that make  we more likely gain employment and to be successful on our chosen occupations.

CONFIDENT

Many of skill that employers expect from  a graduates. So we need to have that employability skill to be a good employee. Some of skill that we need to have is confident. Confident is an important things we need to have in our self. When we do something,  we need to be confident make a choice and make a decision. Be a confident employee when do something, sharing or present a new idea to the employer.

RESPONSIBILITY & FOCUS

To be a good and better employee, we also need to have a responsibility skill. When we are given a task, we need to have full of responsibility to complete and submit the task follow the criteria. We also need to responsible when have a problem. Try to solve every problem that happen with a full responsible as an employee. A good employee also need to have a focus skill when do their work. Focus is an important skill for an employee to achieve target and goal. Focus when do something until the things we do achieve our target. Do not do all on the same time because it will make we did not focus the work.

CREATIVE THINKING & EFFORT

Other than that, to be a good employee we also need a skill that we can think outside of the box. That’s also a skill to be a good leader. Do something creative and something new to attract people to get a fast action to achieve our target and goals. As an example, when we as a marketing manager, we need to do something creative in a multi ways to attract people look at our product and interested to use it. If we can attract and make people interested, our target and goal we can achieve with a simple way. An employee also need to have a tough effort. When we do something and its fail, we cannot give up. We need to be strong and have a tough mental and physical to try with other ways until success achieve a target.

SUPPORT EACH OTHER & TOLERATE

To be a good employee and a good leader, we need to have a skill to support each other. As a team work, we need to support each other when do any work to complete any task. When we support each other, every work we do will become simple. Support each other will become environment work more friendly. To support each other we need to be tolerate and accept what other team idea. When someone in a team sharing his or her idea, we need to respect and discuss before make a decision. Giving everyone chance to sharing and present an idea without think about their ranks. As an employee, we also need a presentation skill. A presentation skill is we need to prepare our self about what we want to present in a meeting. We need to have a high confident level when do a presentation in front of employer. When we do a presentation, we also need to wear tide appearance to make people more confident when see our presentation.

            That’s some of employability skill that we need to have to make other people respect and trust on our self. Our employer will become more confident to make our self as a leader if we have a high employability skills.

Immediate goal

Now I’m at the final year for diploma electronic engineering. For the immediate goal that I want to achieve for now is be a successful graduate diploma, can further studies for degree and become an engineer. To be a successful graduate, I need to be more focus and responsible on everything I do. 

As we know, at the final year, all have own final year project that must be complete.  I need to be more focus and take a responsibility to complete my final year project. To achieve my goal, I also need to change myself to be more confident with a high confident level in front of all. I need to be more confident when do a presentation for viva final project presentation. I need to prepare all things to be ready for any situation to complete my final year diploma. Other than that, I also need to have creative thinking and effort skill. The creative thinking skill is important to be a good leader. Creative thinking skill is the skill that we can think outside of the box which is we can think in multi way to facing any positive and negative things. If we can think in a creative thinking, it will make we achieved our target and goal in a simple way. Its also one of the skill that an engineer need to have to solving problem that their facing. As a student, I also need to have best time management. The best time management will make my work to be done on time. To have a best time management, I need to prepare a schedule to divide my time for study, sport and have some enjoy for relax our mind. As a student, I also need to be a person that never give up on everything I do even I failed on something I do. I need to keep try and try until success and achieve my target and goal.  As my immediate target to be an engineer, I also need to support each other and tolerate. Engineer as a leader for a team to complete any task given in group. As a leader I need to support each other and tolerate with a team member. Giving a chance for team member to present an idea and accept their idea if it more better to achieve target and goal.
